Blue Heron can clone your ordered sequence into the vector you need to get your project completed as quickly and efficiently as possible. Choices include standard Blue Heron vectors, a selection of third-party and proprietary vectors, or customer-supplied vectors.

Vectors with no additional charge:

• Blue Heron pUCminusMCS, which lacks a multiple cloning site
• Blue Heron pUC, a pUC119 derivative containing a multiple cloning sites

Customer-provided vectors:

• Customer proprietary vectors — Customer can provide their own vector and Blue Heron will store it at their site to make it available for ongoing cloning projects. One-time check-in process includes a small additional charge.
• The pET vectors — Customer's license from Brookhaven National Labs must include third-party cloning.
• Expression vectors
• Specialized vectors for large projects can be used to minimize overall cost - Ask!

OriGene-provided vectors:

OriGene has developed a novel pCMV6-based, versatile protein expression vector system. The PrecisonShuttle system uses a simple 'cut-and-paste' procedure to subclone any gene inserts from any vector into any of 60 destination vectors. The destination vectors offer choices of:

• Epitope tags for protein purification detection
• Fluorescent protein tags for protein visualization
• Various drug marker for stable line establishment
• Inducible expression (pTUNE)
• E.coli expression vectors
