Process Overview

The following provides an overview of the steps involved in the gene synthesis process.

1. Codon Optimization
Optional: Customer can request Codon Optimization on their Amino Acid sequence.

2. Design Submitted Online
The final DNA sequence designed by the customer is submitted via an online, dedicated, secure ordering web site.

3. Production
The DNA sequence is synthesized, cloned, and sequence verified.

4. Delivery
The final product is shipped via overnight delivery to the customer. Included in the shipment are the purified plasmid DNA and the bacteria containing the plasmid.

5. Data
Sequence data and trace data are posted onto the customer's dedicated, secure web site available for download.
